one-way ticket to austria: $782

I'm booking the flight to Austria today, then buyin' some Oatibix and busing to someone's homegym. (Finally! a few days to train!)

Last night I unicycled four miles to the gym. Got there at 9pm, and paid $12 for a day-pass, then trained for two hours 'til they closed.



The setters, haha...they're freakin' sweet; and the bathrooms swanky, too. when I set they'll let me in free, but until then? I'm hitting up homegyms. Don't have much money, personally.


Made some calls on the way there - an M.I.A. D string on Ilia's guitar (now claimed by myself, well-trained master of the tabs to 'New Soul') will be in the mailbox à bientôt. THANK YOU ANTHONY!!!!!!


Bought a Rebel xTi Canon with a fish-eye lens. Sat in the shade taking pictures of an anti-Prop 8 woman I had just met, walking out of the store.





Score one for serendepity.


(Sara's an anti-Prop 8 worker who'd volunteered to work at the heart of San Diego - where nice conservatives abound! met her on the way to see if some packages of seaweed and goji berries had been delivered yet. She was at a brand-name, money-fueled, don't-smile-too-much hey-don't-ride-your-unicycle-here-little-kid mall, with several other workers in the sun, enthusiastically shouting "Hi" and "Have a nice day!" -

- even when they shot her a dirty look, and walked off, looking what might have been slightly horrified by the friendly smile :) :)
