First things first: knee is in good condition, and I've been training in the parks and hold handstands too keep up my endurance and stay light despite the kilometers and kilometers of walking around France. I'm trying to stay in shape for Ceuse - so far, it hasn't been to hard. Food was hard to scrape up at first, but since I booked a youth hostel in advance, things are dandy and I'm saving money for the move to Valence. Then the crags.

By the way...

Holy...

Wienerschnitzel!!!

Done a lot of things I never thought I'd do in life. Here's the flickr of it. :) I'm so overwhelmed. And still in the midst of things - "things" being another country. Eep

Had a startling two days of starvation - and became engrossed in the massive power of the tiny plant.

Momentary homelessness, joined at the hip with a night of soccer, amis neuveux, un bol, espanol, and a cluster of very confusando languaging garble. My language muscle hurts!

Have had THE weirdest harvest of pictures ever including professional painters, many flirty frenchmen, stone cold clowns, bikers, birds, a chinese dictionary/pillow, and - alasandofcourse - cheeky goats.

Also had after-dinner finger surgery.

Johanna got some nice pictures of the needle stuck in the knuckle. (why am I always smiling during the "shit times"?)
